Intrinsically motivated and an innate problem solver, I thrive on strategizing, exercising good judgement and executing complex projects by forming strong collaborative partnerships with stakeholders. I am passionate about engineering and innovation that tackles real life problems and improves quality of life for humankind and our planet. A constant learner dedicated to continuous improvement and crafting solutions that minimise our strain on the earth’s resources, energy and landfill while maximising my client's business’s KPIs.
A honed engineering strategist in the Energy sector (Power Generation + Oil & Gas + Hydrogen fuel) specialised in Instrumentation, Electrical, Controls & Systems Engineering with 18 yrs experience across Australia and New Zealand. An experienced leader in Project Planning & Delivery and Strategic Lifecycle planning of assets.
I am a strong believer in “Live Local, Think Global” where engaging within communities around us has never been more relevant and yet at the same time partnering with other earth-izens is our best and only shot at global movements such as climate change and decarbonisation.
If you are experiencing a challenge that needs a engineering solution, I would be delighted to hear from you. Drop me an email and together let us explore avenues to add value to your business.
When Im not working...
Bush walks and tramps are what I do to unwind and re-centre. I have scaled Maunga Taranaki 5 times including once under a full moon for a breathtaking summit-sunrise experience. Getting around on a bicycle is what keeps me active. It also means 1 less car on the road but best of all, no parking hassles.
My weekends generally fill up with taxi-ing kids to extracurriculars and otherwise being silly with them with the occasional DIY, recycling and upcycling project. I enjoy working with wood and real tools which give me respite from the keyboard, mouse and screens.
